Dave,
Anthony and
Tim
The Web Technologies Group focuses on both external website development as well as internal website,
browser-based application and desktop application development. Each of us on the team has core programming skills,
but some of us focus more on content and interface development while others focus more on advanced
programming aspects.
We all work together well as a team as we each contribute to the overall development
tasks and goals based on our individual talents and skills. Really, that's what teamwork is about:
acknowledging and best utilizing the skill set of each member to achieve the development goals for the group
and the County.
For the current website, published in June 2005, each of us played a valuable role in its genesis, implementation and deployment. We've
built upon our prior experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, and applied our aggregate skillset and knowledge
in constructing this new website, which we feel provides easier navigation and focused access to desired information.
Our website won the following awards:

Anthony - Programming Analyst II
In September 2003, Anthony joined the team as an Internet Systems Specialist.
In August 2005 he was hired into a permanent position as a Programming Analyst II.
With a
background in C++, Java and COBOL, Anthony has worked in both software and Web development
roles. Since joining the Web Group, he has gained valuable experience in ASP.NET and
C# development, while helping with the ongoing maintenance and development of the
award winning Sutter County website.
Anthony graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Applied Computing
from the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland. He took the industrial option
which focused heavily on Interfacing and Applications (microprocessors) as well as the
mainstream software subjects. His chosen elective was Management Psychology.
Anthony has recently been involved in the new
SutterHelps Web Application for the
Department of Human Services, which enables users to check their eligibility for the
many Federal, State and local programs that the County administers. Sutter County Departments
of Information Technology and Human Services
received a coveted Achievement Award for SutterHelps from the National Association of Counties
(NACO) at that organization's annual meeting in Chicago on August 7, 2006.
He has enjoyed the switch over to the .Net architecture and being part of the team that developed the
new look and feel of the current Sutter County website.

Dave - Systems Analyst Supervisor
Dave is the crazed taskmaster who rules with an iron fist and a crusty donut! The team feels that
he's imposing a cruel form of torture when he brings in donuts, cookies and other goodies when some
of them are trying to watch their weight. Sugar is good nutrition right? ;o)
Although Dave may not visibly have pointy hair like Dilbert's boss, you could simply imagine them
to be there...right guys? All joking aside, Dave feels that it's a true blessing and pleasure
working with such talented, skilled and good natured Web and application developers. Sutter County
is fortunate to have them on board.
In addition to managing and architecting the various Web development projects, Dave also enjoys the
numerous opportunities to contribute to core programming and content development.
With the release of our current website in June 2005, we present a fresh new look and a revised information
architecture based on service channels or perspectives for easier navigation and information access. All
suggestions and encouragement are welcome as we are committed to serving our County and community.

latest technologies available and implementing new solutions with his team.
Prior to joining Sutter County, Tim worked in the private sector as an analyst and
developer in Sacramento. His previous project was on a team developing a Web-based
system that improves the State of California’s ability to automate child support
cases.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in
Management Information Systems from California State University, Chico.
He looks forward to serving Sutter County and spending time volunteering in
his local community for various local events. He is a lifetime resident
of California and enjoys the close community environment of Sutter County.

|
Bill - Internet Systems Specialist
Although Bill is no longer with Sutter County, he was a valuable contributor to the early development
of our new website. He's a great guy and we know that he will do very well in his new opportunity closer to home.
|
Jeff - Programming Analyst III
Although Jeff now works in the private sector, he was originally a member of the Web technologies Group, and was
a major contributor to the new website deployment.
Jeff's focus for the website was on the programming of our core
website framework components and internal interfaces for content and news publication as well as configuration,
directory and menu management.
