All Business Must Post Their Plan

Businesses and organizations must use the appropriate documentation to make sure they are operating in compliance with state and local requirements.

For many industries, the state has created a checklist. Go here to find guidance and checklists for your industry:

If the state has not provided a checklist for your industry, please use the Operations Protocol Document developed by Sutter and Yuba Counties.

Letter to Businesses

1/9/2021

Effective January 1, 2021, non-healthcare employers are required by law to report workplace outbreaks to local health departments when there is an outbreak of 3 or more cases of COVID-19 at a worksite within a 14-day period. Businesses must report the information within 48 hours. The full guidance can be found here. CDPH’s FAQs for employers are also available.

In order to facilitate the ease of reporting, Sutter County and Yuba County businesses can utilize the State’s free Shared Portal for Outbreak Tracking (SPOT). If you are interested in enrollment through SPOT, please contact the listed County staff who can assist with the enrollment:

Sutter County : Andrea Vasquez ([email protected])
