The Substance Use Disorders (SUDS) Program provides outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential placements and referrals for adults, and adolescent counseling.
SUDS Treatment Programs
The First Steps Program provides intensive day treatment services to substance abusing mothers. The program provides evidence-based curriculum, individual and group counseling, parenting and basic life skills. Cooperative child care for infants and small children on site. Admittance preference is given to women who are pregnant injecting drug users, pregnant substance abusers and women with dependent children.

OFC provides a variety of outpatient services, residential placements and referrals for anyone seeking treatment for alcohol or drug abuse or addiction. OFC also oversees Sutter County Drug Court, Yuba County Drug Court and Sutter County Probation Choices Program.

The Q&I Committee of SYBH/SUDS is a partnership of public, private and community resources joined together to monitor and improve the quality and access to services available to individuals and families experiencing problems with substance abuse. We place an emphasis on outreach and education to local communities and to populations underserved. The Committee is represented by SUDS program staff, community & inter-departmental providers & consumers, including clients, former clients &/or family members.
