Mobile crisis services provide immediate, on-site support for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. They aim to stabilize situations, connect individuals to appropriate resources, and reduce the need for emergency interventions.
RESPOND ANYWHERE IN THE COMMUNITY
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM AN ENCOUNTER WITH MOBILE CRISIS TEAM
- Intervention provided in the field by our mobile crisis team. Our team is comprised of medical and mental health professionals with training in compassionate care.
- Transfer opportunities to facilities to suit your needs such as rehabilitation center, emergency department, psychiatric health facility, etc.
- Follow up care after crisis intervention encounter within 72 hours via phone or in-person. We want to ensure you receive the continuous support after your initial intervention.
*Mobile crisis services may NOT be provided in the following settings due to restrictions in federal law and/or because these facilities and settings are already responsible for providing crisis services:
- Inpatient Hospital
- Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital
- Emergency Department
- Residential Substance Use Disorder treatment and withdrawal management facility
- Mental Health Rehabilitation Center
- Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF)
- Special Treatment Program
- Skilled Nursing Facility
- Intermediate Care Facility
