Action Plan

The Reducing STIs Action Plan, updated December 19, 2024, describes the objectives, strategies, and actions that Sutter County Public Health and our various community partners will implement to reduce STIs. Here is an overview of the overarching vision and objectives included in the action plan:

  • Overarching Vision: Reduce the incidence and burden of STIs for Sutter County residents.
    • Objective 1: By December 31, 2026, all local outpatient providers will implement STI partner services and linkages to care at all clinical sites.
    • Objective 2: By December 30, 2026, implement an age-based STI education curriculum targeted to at least 50% of select Sutter County Middle Schools, High Schools, and institutions of higher learning such as Yuba College.
