What is Tobacco Cessation?
Cessation is defined as the act or process of ending or being brought to an end. Tobacco cessation refers to the process of permanently stopping the use of all tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, and electronic cigarettes.
The goal of tobacco cessation is to achieve long-term abstinence from tobacco use and improve overall health by reducing the risk of smoking-related diseases.
