According to the CDC, E-cigarettes also referred to as vapes are tobacco products that are battery operated devices that can be heat up by liquid and produce aerosol. The vape products come in many different sizes, colors, and shapes. Most of them have a heating element, a battery, and a place to hold the liquids.

 

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), e-cigarettes, also called vapes, are tobacco products that use a battery to heat a liquid and turn it into a vapor you can inhale. They come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors, but most have a battery, a heating part, and a container for the liquid.  

 

There are a variety of vapes that are refillable, disposable, and pre-filled cartridges/pods.

  • Refillable Vapes: These devices are rechargeable and contain a tank or chamber that holds e-liquid. Some models can be modified to adjust the amount of aerosol produced and the potency of the substance. 
  • Disposable: These devices come pre-filled and may be rechargeable, but they are designed so that the tank or chamber cannot be refilled.  
  • E-cigarettes with a Pre-Filled Cartridge or Pod: These devices are rechargeable and are designed to be reused.
