NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT sealed proposals shall be received for a
“1 ton Commercial Cutaway Van” until 9:30 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2005, by the
County of Sutter, State of California, in the office of the Clerk of the Board
of Supervisors, 1160 Civic Center Blvd., Suite A, Yuba City, California 95993,
at which time they will be publicly opened. The “vehicle” is more particularly
described in the specifications and related documents, which may be obtained by
contacting the Purchasing Division at (530) 822-7473 between 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Monday through Friday or by visiting our website at www.suttercounty.org.
Vendors utilizing mail services are encouraged to have packages delivered two
business days prior to the proposal opening in order to allow for internal mail
sorting, routing and delivery. Further, packages submitted via Fed Ex, UPS, or
other carrier service shall be enclosed in an envelope clearly marked “VEHICLE BID”.
It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure proposals are in the custody of
the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at the designated time of opening. No late
proposals, or those submitted via facsimile (fax), shall be accepted.
