Sutter County Housing Element Workshop

Sutter County is updating its Housing Element and wants your input! Please attend a Community Workshop on January 27th to learn about the project and share your thoughts on addressing housing needs in the County!

WHEN: Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 5:30 – 7:00 PM

The purpose of the Housing Element, which is part of the County’s General Plan, is to address the existing and future housing needs for all residents. The Housing Element shows how the County will accommodate its fair share of the regional housing needs. We would like to hear your ideas, concerns, and solutions regarding housing in the county.

Coronavirus Vaccine
January 12, 2021

We have been working hard to compile and organize COVID-19 Vaccine guidance, information, and tools for our healthcare partners and the general public. We encourage you to visit and review the information and resources included on the website.

The vaccine is very limited right now and eligible persons are direct healthcare workers and persons living in long term care facilities. We do not expect the general public to be eligible for several months.

New COVID Relief Grant for Small Businesses
January 04, 2021

The Governor announced the creation of a $500 million COVID Relief Grant for small businesses that have been impacted by COVID and the health and safety restrictions. Funds would be awarded in amounts up to $25,000 to underserved micro and small businesses throughout the state by early 2021. Non-profits would also be eligible for these grants.
